What I love about reading MaryLu’s books is that it’s a little of everything! History, suspense, mystery, and romance. She does a wonderful job of bring Jesus into the storyline and just keeps me interested from the first page to the last!

MaryLu is definately a talented and gifted author!! Glad you’re enjoying her adventures. My favourite aspects are the romances – the heartbreak, tension, trouble etc… Forsaken Dreams definately fits that category! Hope to read Elusive Hope soon.

I love that every book leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat! Then your sad when they end.
Can’t go past suspenseful and thrilling romances! I know exactly what you mean! After reading Forsaken Dreams I wish I didn’t have to return to reality. Same applied to Surrender the Heart, the first novel I read of hers.
This book sounds great. I have several books by MaryLu in my TBR pile, but I haven’t had a chance to read them yet. I hope to read one really soon, especially after reading about this one.

I hope you get to read it soon!! Forsaken Dreams was amazing and is one book I am proud to own. Her plot lines are definately worth the adventure!! I am a hopeless romantic and believe the strong character qualities give it more tension and heartbreak. And I also agree that there is always some moral lesson able to be learnt.

I read the first book in this series, Forsaken Dreams, and really liked it, but that was the only book I’ve read by MaryLu (thought it certainly won’t be the last!). Thanks for doing all these interviews and giveaways, it’s been great to learn more about some of my favorite authors!

I’m glad that you enjoyed the book so much!! Forsaken Dreams is my favourite book of MaryLu’s. Another book of hers I recommend is Surrender the Heart. It is the first book of MaryLu’s that I read and it is nearly just as good – heartbreak, romance, pirates and determination.
That’s alright. I quite like doing these interviews and giveaways. Not only is it fun, but learning more about the authors gives some connection to their books. Hope you come back for Jody Hedlund’s one in a few week’s time 🙂

I am such a fan of Mary Lu’s books…starting with the Charleston series and then I read all of the ones I missed prior to and have been a fan ever since….I can barely wait until the next book is released. I enjoy the spunky heroines and all the time period information that you gather as you read the historical books. She is always quick to point out where our true hope lies and I feel she is a gifted author. I would love to win this book….but if I don’t I will be reading it somehow! MaryLu is most certainly a talented author! The heroines are definately one of my favourite aspects as well. Me, being a hopeless romantic, the added spunk and flare just makes it all the more exciting!! Can’t wait to read Elusive Hope!! Forsaken Dreams is my favourite book of hers. Then I’m guessing you’ve also read Surrender the Heart? This was my first books of MaryLu’s that I read and it was AMAZING!! It made me question why it took me so long to discover her.
I love reading any and all of MaryLu’s books. I love how immersed I feel in the story as I read her historical novels, and the page-turning style of each of her books. I am so glad there is a new release now!

“Elusive Hope” went beyond a page turner. Gripping story and I am very impatient to read the third book in the series when it is released. As this giveaway is for “Elusive Hope” I will not be entering having already read it.
