The Art Of Giving

1 Peter 4:10 – As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the 2corinthians97manifold grace of God.

Matthew  10:8b – Freely you have received, freely give.

Acts 20:35b – It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Luke 6:38 – Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

2 Corinthians 9:7 – Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Proverbs 18:16 – A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.

Proverbs 11:24 – One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty

Matthew 10:42 – And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.

Matthew 7:11 – If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Proverbs 19:6b – … everyone is the friend of one who gives gift.

Deuteronomy 15: 10 & 14b – Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. Give to them as the Lord your God has blessed you.
