The Power of Prayer (Part 2)

PPUntitled

Psalm 17:1a&6a – Hear, O Lord, my righteous plea; listen to my cry … I call on you, O God, for you will answer me.

James 4:7 – Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee away from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you.

Mark 11:24&25 – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

James 5:13a, 15&16 – Is anyone of you in trouble? He should pray. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Philippians 4:6&7 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 21:21&22 – Jesus Replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”.

James 1:5-7 – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, not doubt, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

John 15:7 – If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

Matthew 7:7&8– Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For anyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Romans 8:26 – In the same way, the spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
