Courageous – Part 1: Movie Review: A Movie For All Fathers and Husbands

Untitledo RATING: 4.5 Stars

From the cover ~
Four men, one calling: To serve and protect.

As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes and their partners are confident and focused. They willingly stand up to the worst the world can offer. Yet when they take off their badges at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.

While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they’re quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.

When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God and to their children?

My Thoughts ~
Firstly I just have to say- what an inspirational film!!! Not only was it thought provoking, but ver motivational. Other than that, I believe that the blurb and trailer below say it all. I hope that you will also be inspired and deeply moved through this movie.

“…choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” – Joshua 24:15a

“Best movie of the year!” – Pastor Rick Warren, Saddleback Church

“COURAGEOUS is so good. I think God has something far beyond good, solid family entertainment for this film.” – Beth Moore, Living Proof Ministries

  1. I totally love this movie and the message that it brings. I pray for God to raise up Godly men who will take their place as Spiritual leaders to help guide the next generations into that relationship with God and our future in Him for only He knows the future…

I'd love to know what you are thinking ......
